The Kiwi has Landed

So here I am in NZ after an arduous flight across the Pacific. I'm sleepy, smelly, and trying to wrap my head around how I've arrived 2-days after my departure from LA, even though my flight was only 12 hours long. What did I miss on September 15th? I'll never know. Haven't done anything noteworthy yet, can't check in to my hostel until later this afternoon, but hopefully I'll have lots of exciting stuff to write about soon!
